The strong heart of KE-D

The two symmetrical arranged indexing drums shape the heart of the KE-D. It offers the possibilities to carry out variable working operations.

The well-contrived system with two clamping rings which clamp the long workparts safely at their end makes the KE-D so unique. The clamping is just used there, where the processing starts. This way stability and thus high precision are guaranteed.

With NC control: Flexible for workpart families

Due to the integrated NC control one finger touch is enough to reset the machine when processing workpart families. With that the KE-D is installed in a time of seconds for producing parts with the same processing, but different lengths and diameters (in the clamping area with up to 5 mm difference).

The right unit support can be positioned through manual shifting or by NC control for the specific processing. The heading to the working units is carried out by cams, hydraulic or CNC according to the requirements.

Flexibility pure

Another advantage: the high flexibility with changing workpart diameters. Diameter ranges till 5 mm can be brigded without exchange of the clamping jaws. A quick and easy resetting to a difference of diameter of more than 5 mm can be carried out by exchanging the clamping elements.

Resetting smoothly done

Best access to the working area, quick-change tooling systems, exchangeable clamp holders, ... ease the daily life of the operator.

Manifold and quick in processing

The modular construction makes practically all rotatonial symmetric cutting or non-cutting working operations possible within the working dimensions of diameter 4 to 40 mm and a length of 50 to 650 mm. Thanks to the rotary transfer process the maximum cycle length relates to the longest working operation.

Controlled by mechanic, hydraulic or CNC

The control of the KE-D and also of several working units can specifically be adapted to the workpart spectrum - for best output.

Full feed flexibility:

Material feed from coil, by bar loader or single part feed: the KE-D allows a configuration for several materials. For the optimization of the total process EUBAMA offers intelligent solutions for the single part feed as well. So with a maximal completion the KE-D is usable as an independent working, interlinked manufacturing cell. With that the KE-D does not only realize a maximum of rationalization profits but also an exemplary investment security.
