For workpieces in small and medium lots that need complex machining, the EUBAMA S-12 combines precision and productivity with all the flexibility of a CNC-controlled production solution.
The vertically arranged indexing ring is very easily accessible. Unit supports and motors are separate from the working area, and thus protected from chips or emulsion. The EUBAMA S-12 manufactures parts with high speed and repeatability (index tolerance < 0.01 mm), even when the most complex of requirements are placed on the machining task.
The application spectrum of the EUBAMA S-12 comprises workpieces with diameters of 6 mm to 25 mm and lengths from 6 mm to 650 mm.
For end machining, simultaneous two sided machining via horizontal units, and also cross machining via vertical units, up to 20 machining units can be in operation during a single cycle.
Two types of control are available for the EUBAMA S-12. To suit its processing spectrum the EUBAMA S-12 can be equipped with hydraulic control, CNC control or a combination of both.
The machining units are clamped inside round guides. This design principle makes resetting easier, since all the necessary plug connections are available at each station.
The right-hand unit support can be moved mechanically up to 200 mm. The result: good accessibility and reductions in setup times wherever workpiece families have to be machined.
Setup is comfortable and quick, thanks to the clamping ring with its concentric collet chucks and clamping devices for various diameters.
Workpiece feed is either from coil via a feed unit, from bar stock via a loading magazine, or - in the case of turned, extruded or punched parts - via oscillating conveyors.
